How much does it cost?
Nothing — our help is always free. Donations help us keep going, but are never expected.
What we can help with
- Phones, tablets & laptops — Getting to know your device and using touchscreens.
- Email, WhatsApp & video calls — Setting up email, texts and messaging, and video calls with family.
- Wi-Fi & getting connected — Wi-Fi, broadband and internet problems.
- Apps & the NHS App — Finding and using apps, including the NHS App, online banking and shopping.
- Passwords & updates — Passwords, PINs, passkeys and keeping your devices up to date.
- Photos & storage — Photos, running out of space, backups and printing.
- Online forms — DVLA, Blue Badge, benefits and council services, or reporting a repair to your landlord.
- Staying safe online — Spotting scams and protecting your personal information.
- Choosing a new device — Help choosing the right device for you, and setting it up.
- And much more — If it's digital, we'll do our best to help.
Please note: we don't repair broken devices, but we can help with almost any question about using them.
Who we help
- People who have never used the internet before
- People with some experience who want to do more
- Anyone struggling to use essential online services
- Anyone feeling overwhelmed or left behind by technology
- People who want to keep in touch with family and friends online
- Anyone worried about staying safe online
No question is too simple, and we work at your pace.
We also run free monthly Tech Talks — see what's coming up.
Become a Digital Champion
Could you volunteer with us? You don't need to be a tech expert — just confident with the devices you use, patient, friendly and keen to help your neighbours.
We'll give you support and guidance to get started, and all our volunteers are DBS checked. Join our team of 15 volunteers making a real difference in our community.
Support our work
Our help is free, but it isn't free to run. Our costs are met by a grant from Clarion Futures and by donations, and each year donations cover more of them. Every contribution helps us reach more people, tackle digital exclusion and build a more connected community.
Buy us a coffee
Donations of any size help — from just £3, the price of a coffee. You can pay safely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and you don't need to create an account.
Donate on Ko-fi (opens in a new tab)
This opens our page on Ko-fi, a secure donation website, in a new tab. We're a community group rather than a registered charity, so donations can't be Gift Aided.
Other ways to give
Would you rather give by bank transfer, make a larger donation, or support us as a local business or organisation? We'd love to hear from you.
