You are not alone! Join our free tech talk and learn what cloud storage is, why you’re probably already using it, and how to keep your photos safe. We’ll cover iCloud, Google Drive, OneDrive & Samsung Cloud – which one you have and whether you need to pay (probably not!).

What a great talk. Cloud storage demystified. I love the way your talks are presented, explaining the techy terms, it’s very helpful. Your work in helping us understand this increasingly digital world is much appreciated.

This was my first talk and I was very impressed both with the actual presentation but more importantly with the content.
The speaker wasn’t rushed allowing us to absorb information, which in this day and age is unusual.
You certainly managed to reassure us that “the cloud” should be viewed as a useful storage place rather than something to be feared!
Thank you – and I will definitely be popping in at some stage.
Well done to all you volunteers.

  3. Once again a thoroughly helpful talk allowing you get your head round a subject which you know a bit about but worry you don’t know enough. As with previous talks you go away relieved that it has all been explained without jargon you might not understand. The team are so helpful and generous with their time in answering individual questions (however basic) in a friendly way. Thank you to all involved – there is cake and tea too!

As stated above a great summary. I have however got myself confused by Microsoft/OneDrive/Outlook/Windows and their passwords: is it all one or are they different. I’ll have to see if one of your f2f sessions can sort me out.

That’s a great question Paul. If you had a Microsoft email account (.outlook, .hotmail etc) the explanation would have been simpler, but with a gmail account, the issue can get a little blurry, so please drop into one of our drop-in sessions and we will explain.
