Very helpful. Especially as I’ve been known for producing photos with heads and then just sky or half a body!

Thank you Spire for another excellent Tech Talk, this time given by Bob who did a great job. I have never had any camera training, so just used one button to ‘click’. My phone was set up for me when I purchased it, so I guess the camera is on ‘factory settings’. I shall be attending a Monday Spire meeting to have the camera set up properly by the experts and to learn a lot more.

Bob patiently answered copious interesting questions at the end of the talk, and it was a very enjoyable afternoon. Thank you Liam for your notes to refer to which are much appreciated. I am looking forward to the next Tech Talk, and many thanks again Spire for all your kind help.

As a person who just points the camera at a subject, and is pleasantly surprised by the good result, I realise that there are a few simple things that I could do to improve images. Bob’s talk was interesting, clear and informative. The 45minutes passed all too quickly.

This is the second Spire talk I have been to, and this one was as excellent as the first one. For a start, I have never cleaned my phone camera lens! I did not know about the Rule of Third either, which was really helpful. I hope to take much better photos from now on. Thank you very much.

Thank you for a very useful talk. I now know more of the possibilities and pitfalls of using my phone camera. It was good to have the opportunity for questions and to know we can pop in for extra support as needed. Will be back for some future sessions.
