Tuesday 9th September
With Microsoft ending support for Windows 10 in October 2025, this talk will explain what it means for your device, how it could affect your security, and what options you have – whether that’s upgrading, replacing your laptop, or making simple changes to extend support.
Well done Liam – hugely successful Tech Talk – especially the Audience Notes & Slides. I’ve seen far worse paid-for professional presentations.
Sorry I couldn’t be there.
I would like to thank Liam and his team for the informative talk on Windows 10 and the options to install to Windows 11.
It was straight forward and not overlong with a chance to ask relevant questions afterwards which was useful to hear for all.
St Wilfrids was easy to find with plenty of parking and good tea and biscuits afterwards to help mingle with everyone.
Glad to see it was well attended and hope future talks are equally as well attended.
So thanks again to the Spire Computer Help Team.
Super talk, very well presented and clearly explained. Congratulations to Liam and team, thank you all for giving your time and expertise.
Very good and well presented talk.
It was very clear and helpful.
Thank you.
Thank you Liam, for your presentation on Tuesday, which gave a clearer picture of the issues regarding moving forward from Windows 10 to 11 and importantly the reassurance that there is still time left to do so. And that there is no need to rush into things right now.
There was a lot of technical information in the talk, a lot of which, as a non-technical person went over my head, and I personally found the talk a little long. But the extra techy bits were probably welcomed by the better informed and helps them to move forward more quickly.
But the hall and the sound was clear and could be heard at the back of the hall without any problems, which is always a plus.
The venue is excellent and the facilities good. Timings spot on. So well done to all involved and I would be happy to attend future talks to try and improve my understanding of the digital world a little more. (There’s always hope)
Thank you.

Thank you very much for this talk which was very informative. I didn’t know about the Extended Security Updates for one more year which could be very useful.
I believe the size of your audience is proof enough that there is a definite need for Spire’s help and advice in IT matters in Burgess Hill.
